Halloween Quote

My favorite Halloween quote came from Lily tonight. She opened the candy, took a bite and said, "Mmmmmmmm, this candy tastes like chicken!"

Church Carnival

There are two things worse than a church carnival. The fair and the circus. This first picture sums it all up. Look at that face. She wants more candy, and is angry that I won't give in. Sugar crazed kids running around screaming...just almost more fun than I can stand!

Scott & Sonya Young were our youth minsters when we were in Ada. Several of us at the wedding were in their youth group at one point or another. It was great seeing so many old faces!

Wedding Bells

My best friend growing up was Alana Taylor. Alana passed away 7 years ago due to a heart condition. Her little sister, Stephanie, and I were always friends but became closer after Alana's passing. (I'm kind of her fill in big sister.)

Tonight Lily Alana and I are in Stephanie's wedding. At rehearsal last night, Lily did amazing. She was so adorable. I'm excited and sad. Excited for Steph, but sad that Alana can't be on that stage with her.

I'll post pictures of my little princess after the wedding, I know they are going to be adorable!!

Blown Over with Excitement

The other day we were at Lily's soccer game, and it was SO windy. Addy was playing with a little stick and a gust of wind came thru and literally blew her over! It was hilarious, she didn't cry she just sat there until one of us came over and sat her back up!

I wonder....

I wonder what my husband will look like in the next 25-50 years, OH WAIT.....I already know! Damon, his dad, his grandpa and the girls.

Wrestle Mania

Forget the WWE....

From the age of about 16 months my husband has taught our girls to wrestle. They love it! The other night we told Lily we could have "Wrestle Mania" on Friday night and we could dress up. When I picked her up today, the first thing she was "Mom it's Friday...Wrestle Mania is tonight!!" (So much for her forgetting!)

If there is not enough to be stressed about, my friendly radio disc jockey (whom I usually trust to start my day off right) informed that there are only 72 days until Christmas. SEVENTY-TWO DAYS!!!!!! On a side note, I no longer have a radio in my car!

Don't worry I didn't take them OUT looking like this! Apparently our trampoline is causing black soot to rub off on them...but they don't seem to mind!

Chicaaaago

I had to go to Chicago this week for a seminar. I love this city!!!! I had been before, but I have now added it to my top 2 places I love to travel too. (San Diego & Chicago.) Love it. If you haven't gone, I highly recommend it for a couples get-a-way or a girls only get-a-way. It's a blast!!!!

The Lily Pad

Well I created a monster.

After posting Lily's picture on my blog she has begged for me to do it every day. I love her creativity AND working on the computer is wonderful practice for her. So I created her own little page, The Lily Pad. She won't know that people aren't looking every day. It's keeps her creative juices flowing and it makes her feel good to see me post them online, that's all that matters!
